Before...

The Work Involved

• Arrange skip - Gut the bathroom, remove all suite items, tiles and flooring
• Make good existing plumbing, remove old electric shower
• Install extractor fan and shaver point light/power
• Install energy efficient bathroom light and paint ceiling
• Allow damp to dry out
• Install new shower-bath, cutting bath sides into wall to prevent previous leaks
• Re-plaster bathroom
• Install WC and Basin
• Tile walls as per client requirements
• Paint remaining exposed walls
• Fit sundry items - shower screen, shelf, cabinet etc.
• Tile floor
• Clean up, arrange for skip to be collected

The Solution Design

• Curved shower-bath and glass screen, chrome fittings
• Gravity-fed shower from hot water tank to utilise existing hot water for efficiency
• Chrome towel rail fed from existing central heating system for efficiency
• Time delay extractor fan for damp prevention
• Clean white tiles with green mosaic detailing
• Chrome pipe-work where exposed
