The Solution Design

• Reclaimed bricks used to create a patio edge and raised planter/seat
• Tessellated patio laid in 2 areas
• Outdoor lights set at a low level to illuminate paths and walls
• New featheredge fence erected higher than existing, with lockable gates
• Low level planting areas surrounding the patio
• Gravel infill used to blend patio with pathway across manhole obstacle
• Reclaimed bricks used to create a ground level feature at gate entrance

The Work Involved

• Ground levelled and building rubble removed
• Feature patio edge constructed with reclaimed bricks
• Feature raised planter/seat constructed with reclaimed bricks:

• Main patio and pathway laid
• Lights and outdoor socket installed:

• Manhole height raised to match patio and path height
• New fence constructed around garden and down entire length of property
• 2 new gates installed with locks
• Gaps and voids packed with gravel
